Relationships and Health Education

From September 2020, all schools with a primary phase will need to provide Relationships Education and Health Education and this includes Riverside School. Parents do not have the right to withdraw their child from relationships or health education.The curriculum sets out what the expectations are and what needs to be taught.

From September 2019 the Year A and Year B Units of Work for Riverside will incorporate these requirements and have been planned with consideration for the age ranges taught. The overview of the programmes of study for KS1 and KS2 for all subjects can be seen by clicking here:
