Y3 (Steamers)

Welcome Steamers!

We have PE first thing on Wednesdays. Children can come to school in PE kit, but need to bring school uniform to change into afterwards. 

Book bags need to be brought in on Thursdays.

If your child is still reading their book, please still bring it in so we can check their progress and they can then take it home again.

This half term, children are still working on their targets that were sent home with their reports. If you are unsure of their target, please contact the office to find out.

 Topics:

Maths - Fractions, horizontal and vertical lines and angles

Literacy - Our class book is Charlie Turns into a Chicken by Sam Copeland. We shall be writing narratives including the use of speech, exploring different endings and learning about non-chronological reports. In reading, we will be focusing on answering inference questions. 

Science - Magnets
History- The Anglo - Saxons
Art - Observation Art 

Music - Rhythm 

Drama - we will busy preparing for our Year 3 & 4 performance

Computing - Coding on Scratch
German - Describing Me and Others
PSHE - Living in the Wider World
