Healthy Eating

We believe at Riverside that a healthy diet is an integral part to your child's education.

At Riverside, we follow the Southwark School Transformation program, which states that confectionery, chocolate, and chocolate-coated products are not permitted in school lunches along with a "water-only" policy, meaning only water or low-fat milk are allowed as drinks for students. This also applies to snacks that children have on trips or bring to afterschool activities.

We Are a Nut-Free School

To help keep all members of our school community safe, Riverside Primary is a nut-free school.

Some children and adults can have serious allergic reactions to nuts. We therefore ask that nuts and products containing nuts are not brought onto the school premises, including in packed lunches, snacks or treats.

Please check food labels carefully and avoid items containing nuts.

Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe.
