Y5 (Tugs)

Dear Parents/Carers,

Book bags

Books will be changed on Thursdays, so please make sure your child brings their book bag on that day. Their reading books should be signed whenever you read with them and at least 3 times a week.

PE kits

We will be doing PE every Wednesday. Please can you send your child to school in their school PE kit with their school unifrom in a bag to change in to. Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate footwear, e.g. trainers, and is dressed for the weather, as our lessons will be outside this term. 

Swimming

This term, we will continue swimming lessons on a Tuesday morning.  Children will need appropriate clothing packed in a bag: a swimming costume or swimming trunks, a swimming cap, a towel.  No jewellery should be worn.  We need to inform you that a swimming cap is a mandatory requirement for your child to enter the swimming pool, however these can be purchased from the office for £2.00.

Water bottles

Please send your child to school with a water bottle every day.

Finally, please ensure all clothing and bookbags are clearly labelled.
